READY, SET, CREATE!
1. Go to the place on campus where a dime will get you a copy and books are piled high. Visit the 4th floor of the library looking for books with the call number LC3996.T6 or LC3993.T62. Find one page in the book that you like and make a copy. (Make sure you ask the librarians to put the books back immediately so other workshop attendees can do the same) Or if you want to be creative find the books some place other than the library.
2. Some people say this around Valentine's Day but E. Paul Torrance wrote an article about it. Find the article and bring a copy to the workshop.
3. Go to www.TED.com and search out a video where Ken Robinson talks about schools killing creativity.
4. Find out about the Torrance Tests for Creative Thinking and make some notes.
5. Define what a "Beyonder" is according to E. Paul Torrance.
6. Pick one of the following creativity skills and tell us what you think it means. Bring your defintion with you to the workshop.
